At Quinta dos Cozinheiros, the most exciting moments are the ones where you can suddenly see the vision — not just imagine it. And lately, the front of the house has been changing quickly.

One of the biggest milestones? The new veranda cover. It’s still very much an active worksite, but even now the structure is already transforming the feel of the entire façade. 🏡✨

Why the Veranda Matters 🌿

We’ve always pictured the veranda as the heart of daily life here — the place where mornings start slowly, where lunches run long, and where evenings end outside.

In Portugal, outdoor comfort is all about having options:

• 🌙 protection from evening dew

The new cover brings all of that together — turning the veranda into a real outdoor room, not just an entrance.

This phase has been all about structure first, detail second. With scaffolding still up, we’re building the bones of something that should feel timeless — and like it has always belonged here.

We worked hard to keep the cover in harmony with the house, so it feels integrated rather than added on.
